Where do I even begin?
Yes. I know. It’s been a while since I’ve updated this thing. So much and so little has happened. I’m not sure where to start. I guess, perhaps with the mundane.
Work is work. Nothing changed there. In some aspects things have reached routine, same thing day in and day out. Coworkers are great. Boss is awesome. Breezy.
I suppose the only real thing that’s changed recently was dating. After being in Seattle for almost two years, I figured it was time to try the waters. The PNW in general is filled with all sorts of people, you not only have your locals, but the many people from around the globe. It’s not hard to find someone also trying to start a new life in a new place. For that I’m thankful. I’ve made a few good friends and I’ve already had my heart bruised once. I suppose it’s not all that bad, it’s all part of the experience, right?
The bruising did linger, enough to distract me from a particular writing goal. I had to put aside a project I had hoped to finish in June. I was somewhat saddened by that missed deadline. I guess I’ll only have two pieces of work out this year.
I read over the final book in the Project Horizon series (title pending), and brainstorming on a short within that universe from Pam Reed’s perspective. I hope to have both out by the end of this year. The third book must be out by 12/13/14! Yes. I purposely planned it that way. So, there’s still much to do. For now, routine keeps me complacent, and the dating keeps me on my toes, though no spark with anyone.
