Honest Scrap

What is with this honesty thing? Welp, turns out I was awarded this by Ashy. Now, I gotta post 10 honest things about myself and then pass this on to 5 others. Hmm. Where to start?

1. I’m very weird when it comes to my name; overly possessive and thinking I own it. I can’t wait ’til that Spanish company goes under and releases their hold on www.branli.com :: shakes fist ::
2. My astigmatism forces me to use glasses when writing (but I usually don’t)
3. Got really drunk in WA one time and sang ‘eye of the tiger’ and ‘beat it.’ I have a vague recollection of these events. Needless to say, every time I hear either song it prompts a giggle, followed by a vow to never get that drunk again.
4. The first person that broke my heart had me drinking at age 16. For about 3 months I drank every night just to be able to fall asleep. It took the death of my ex’s mother to snap me out of it. One of the sides of my class ring is dedicated to her. It has a sun rising over hills with the words “a new beginning.”
5. I go overboard when it comes to cleaning. No, seriously. I clean areas that most people ignore, back of sofas, TV’s, entertainment center, behind picture frames. I do this once a month. It’s an all-day event, from 8am to 6pm.
6. I was a VERY quiet child. I was nearly diagnosed with a form of autism and placed on medication that nearly killed me when I was five.
7. Burning bridges is something that keeps some of my friends wary. Apparently I go overboard. I do agree I’m dramatic about it; deleting phone number, throwing anything that reminds me of them, and severing any line of communication.
8. Oh, I have abandonment issues 🙂
9. I have no “gay-dar” and often made fun of because of it. One day there will be a GPS for it; GayPositionSystem. Where flocks of them may be called “Rainbows” or “Prides!” (thanks to @snowppl for that)
10. I take forever to read/write. I abandon most projects, especially when they’re finished. My first attempt at a novel I finished when I was 16; over 300K words. I’ve yet to go back and fix it. I’m trying to change that with my current finished project. Time will tell.

That’s all I got. Rather boring stuff, I know. I’d pass this one to five people but I’m not linked too that many yet. So…
